DescriptionSome of the finest fishing and hunting in the state are found at Red Willow SRA, and the area has excellent facilities for camping and water-oriented recreation. Red Willow SRA offers 4,320 acres of land around a 1,628-acre lake. Camping, swimming, picnicking, and water recreation are very popular at Red Willow.Geography:Cedar tree and other woody brush filled canyons and draws with rocky outcroppings Recreation:Boating, water sports, hunting, and fishing. Non-lifeguard beach area. 4 miles of hiking and biking trails, bird and wildlife watching opportunities and a 20 target archery range. Facilities:48 camping pads with 30 and 50-amp electrical hookups are available, with access to showers and a dump station. Willow View Campground also offers a panoramic view of the lake. 19 designated basic campsites at other campgrounds in the area; ADA accessible Fishing Dock; Fish Cleaning Station; Swimming Beach; Archery Range Nearby Attractions:Frank Lloyd Wright Sutton's House, Senator George Norris State Historical Site, Museum of the High Plains and Carnegie Library, Heritage Hills Golf Course Alerts and Important Information Park entry permit is required of all vehicles. 40ft maximum length camping unit.
